I have one my savage. I am the 3rd owner and the 1st owner put it on. My nieghbor owns a 1000cc Virago - it's sound is nothing compared to mine. I've grown accustom to it. The niegbors haven't complained and everyone knows your coming. It might be a safety feature. My wife says she knows when to open the garage for me!
One advantage that I have heard is that the Jardine can be put on right out of the box. Most Supertraps, I hear, need to be cut down to make them fit. HOpe this helps.
